Snacking is never going out of fashion but the reason changes more often than we would like to admit.
For example, in 2025, the new trend is People adopting a more flexible approach to eating, over the more traditional three meals a day.
Other likeable trends include intermittent fasting, single meal diets or 6 meal a day options... in honor of how bodies and metabolisms differ and the different ways people discover what works best for their body type.
What's more, the rulebook for what constitutes a snack is apparently out the window, with consumers opting for "mini meals" such as savoury bakes, noodles and fully-loaded salads.
I am particularly partial to high protein snacks like beef jerry, dried fruits, mixed nuts and other savory treats that make me feel fuller for longer but also keep my mouth busy without that guilty feeling attached to it
