Picture this dears,

You are at a party, and they are serving cake.

It looks so yummy you really want to have a bite, but then you remember you are on a diet because of that health issue you have been trying to get past.

You are dispirited and the party enthusiasm you had disappears for a moment.

Granny herself, has been in similar situations a couple of times my dears, and the last time that happened, I baked my family and me a healthy and wholesome cake later that evening. We all loved it.

So, today, I thought we should look at 2 baked recipes that can be enjoyed by anyone whether or not they have health concerns. What’s more? These recipes are easy to make, don’t require too many ingredients and you will have them ready in under 30 minutes. 

Here we go:

Sugar-Free Oat Flour Banana Bread

This sugar-free oat flour banana bread is not only healthy, but it's also flavorful, nutritious, and so delicious. It makes for a perfect breakfast or brunch dessert or snack.

It had to be first on this list because I bake it a lot and it is often ready in about 10 minutes. I know you are going to fall in love with it and here are a few reasons why:

  • A culinary delight for both adults and kids
  • It is 100% sugar-free, gluten-free, and oil-free
  • The ingredients are so delicious
  • It has a fruity and sourish raspberry touch

Every guest I have served this bread loved it. Not even my picky-eating friends think anything is missing.

  • Crushed walnuts

Healthy Vegan Cornbread

Just like the banana bread above, this is a vegan recipe. I should also mention it is gluten-free, so that makes it even healthier. It is also sugar-free. 

Now, the main reason I have baked this bread more times than I can remember is that the recipe has only 6 ingredients and the bread is often ready within 30 minutes.

It is a little savoury, so soft and tender. I like the flavour and texture it adds to most of the meals I serve it with; it has never disappointed me.

To make this cornbread healthy, we do away with traditional cornbread ingredients such as sugar, butter, oil, eggs, dairy milk, etc. Here is what you will need instead:

  • Oat flour
  • Cornmeal
  • Soy milk
  • Applesauce
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Some salt and baking powder
